The Garrett Leight Spring Summer 2013 collection embodies everything we appreciate in eyewear, it’s: original, classic, and oh so clean — with a laid-back California spirit.
Beautiful custom Japanese acetates, signature metal filigree detailing, and glass lenses with both polarized and anti-reflective options, are just a few of the notable highlights throughout the range. It is technical, yet each frame comes across effortless and universally wearable, which is no easy feat.
You can just feel the thought and care that goes into each design. There are details everywhere you look, even the nose-pads on the new San Juan model have their own small signature touch.
The Collection:
The Venezia is a timeless unisex shape with thin lines and a nice comfortable fit. Its rich with intricate antiqued metal details and combines custom acetate colors with transparent temples revealing a beautiful underlying filigree design.
The Venezia is also offered as an eyeglass and comes complete with a cool folding metal sunglass clip. They can be fitted with an RX and worn as standard eyeglasses, then when you go out into the sun, the sunglass lenses can quickly be clipped on.
It is the perfect combination of fashion and function – providing you two uses with a single frame. Even if you only plan to wear as a sunglass it still undoubtedly a unique and fresh piece.
The San Juan is Garrett Leight’s take on the quintessential aviator. The GLCO version adds a twist with the addition of acetate temples, an acetate top-Bar, and vintage glass lenses (which are both polarized and have a back side Anti-reflective coating, to eliminate glare from both in front and behind).
Keeping true to the original British classic design which inspired the frame, the Wilson features authentic acetate Windsor rims, detailed metal filigree, mixed antiqued metal, and mineral glass lenses.
Introduced last year as an optical frame, by popular request Garrett introduces the Wilson sunglass into the lineup.
The tried and true Kinney model returns this season in a host of new one of a kind colorways, with acetates specially sourced from Japan.
